Brian Fleming

Founder and Owner

Background

Born near Philadelphia, PA, and growing up in a tightly knit family, Brian acquired the core values of integrity, honesty, teamwork, as well as a strong work ethic and sense of family. Helping his uncle with masonry and his dad with plumbing while growing up, he was exposed to many different skills in real work situations.

After high school, and through combining his appreciation for the outdoors with skills he gained throughout childhood, he started his career with a landscaping company in the west and never looked back.

Education

Moving to Colorado in 2002, Brian studied Outdoor Recreation Leadership at Colorado Mountain College in Leadville, CO, which heightened his love of the outdoors. During this time he developed many skills, including horsemanship, equipment operation, fire mitigation and leadership.

In 2008, after marrying, he and his wife decided to make the move to Durango, Colorado. With persistence and patience, Brian successfully launched Fleming Landscaping in 2010, so he could share his skills and love of the outdoors with the good people of Durango, CO.
